ASSIGNMENT 1 (A) : OBSERVATIONAL DRAWINGS
INTRODUCTION
This assignment requires students in groups of 5 to draw the top view, side view and section view of an assigned fruit or vegetable during tutorial.

I had formed a group with Bong Ying, Shi Min, Swen Wen and Anne. We are assigned to draw a small cute pineapple.
REQUIREMENTS
1. As a group, we have to produce two categories of drawings for each view:

SKETCHES (WITH RENDERING) - USING PENCIL
OUTLINE DRAWINGS (WITHOUT RENDERING) - USING PEN

TYPES OF VIEWS REQUIRED :
1 TOP VIEW
2 ELEVATIONS - SIDE/ FRONT/ BOTTOM VIEW
2 SECTIONS - LONG & CROSS SECTION

2. Produce all 10 sets of drawings on A4 papers. One drawing one A4 paper.
3. Compose all drawings on 2 A1 size mounting board. Write group members' name and student ID on the board.

Before doing the assignment....
I had done some preparation by watching videos about how to sketch pineapple on YouTube channel in my room.
I also practiced drawing the front view of the pineapple in library. But I admitted that I still need some improvement in drawing.
During lecture....
After discussion, they had divided the tasks equally.

Last instruction : Shi Min
Miss Iffa has instructed us to produce drawings about the process of making hard-boiled eggs on papers in group of 5. In other words, we have translated the instructions into diagrams. When completed, we needed to post up to Facebook to let Miss Iffa see. This is an exercise before going to legit do assignment 1(A).

Swen Wen did her final-touch up on her drawings.

We are nervous when it came to the end. It is because we had to rush to compose and submit our boards. Still remember that my hearts are pounding so fast... Because I was afraid that we could not finish it on time.
We were like....
"Swen Wen QUICK !!! PASS ME THE GLUE!!! "
"ANNE, WRITE the ALL LABELLINGS!!!!"
"OMG!!! Someone please write our NAMES and STUDENTS ID !!!"
"NOOOOO.... this picture should be pasted here, NOT THERE!!!"
"SHI MIN, start doing THE TOUCH-UP now!!! We are short of TIME!! HURRY UP !!!"

Our Masterpiece
REFLECTION
Throughout this assignment, I had learnt how to draw observational drawings. I admitted that we are not the best, we are the AVERAGE group based on our and others drawings. However, we were still optimist and overcome the challenges that we faced. We helped each other by giving opinions "Maybe shade darker here in this area...", trying to put our best foot forward.
TAYLOR'S GRADUATE CAPABILITIES
We had solved the problems that we faced together. For example, Bong Ying and I tried to figure out about the arrangement of our drawings on the mounting boards.
We had done some mistakes when doing our assignment, such as Anne forgot to write all the members' names. But we didn't blame her. We still learn to forgive her.
In this assignment, we had demonstrated team work by dividing the task equally, supporting each others' back.
